The Decisive Battle! The End of the Hero (Part 2) (決戦! ヒーローの最期 (後編), Kessen! Hīrō no Saigo (Kōhen)), is the twenty-sixth episode of Gridman the Hyper Agent.

Synopsis[]
Toxic gas covers the city! Despite being poisoned, Naoto decides to fight again.
Summary[]
Gridman has just enough strength to escape Computer World, and return Naoto home. Naoto is delirious; still having visions of previous monster battles. Yuka tends him, and takes the opportunity to give him a kiss and whisper her true feelings for him.
There's panic in the streets as Venora's ongoing destruction increases the poisonous smoke output. With the video playing in the sky, it's all over the news that monsters have appeared in Computer World. Khan Digifer then appears in the sky video, exulting in his triumph. He demands that humanity submit to him.
The kids come up with a plan. Ippei will recode Dyna Dragon so that it will be armour, including a faceplate with a gas mask. Naoto joins with Gridman and he materializes at the factory and fights with Venora. Venora counters with its gas attack. This weakens Gridman again, and he takes a beating while waiting for Ippei to finish writing the update. Ippei completes the job, and the new Assist Weapon joins with Gridman so they become King Gridman. They fight, and Venora is blown apart by Grid Beam.
Afterwards, Naoto recounts to the others how he heard a voice whisper to him during his delirium, "I'm always with you". Yuka, of course, denies having done anything.
